พิพิธภัณฑ์ได้รับการออกแบบตกแต่งภายในแบบร่วมสมัยผสมผสานกับเอกลักษณ์ความเป็น
ล้านนา เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับการเล่าประวัติศาสตร์เศรษฐกิจและการใช้เงินตราล้านนา
นำเสนอผ่านภาพ วีดิโอ แอนิเมชั่น และเกมต่างๆ ควบคู่กับการจัดแสดงเงินตราที่เคยใช้ใน
ดินแดนล้านนาตั้งแต่อดีตถึงปัจจุบัน

The Treasury Pavilion 1, Chiang Mai
The museum is designed with contemporary art and Lanna style. The exhibition tells history of economy and money of Lanna via pictures, videos, animations, games and displays Lanna money of each period.

According to this mission, The Treasury Department establishes two museums in Bangkok and three museums in the three provinces holding Thai treasure exhibitions which are as follows. ๑. พิพิธภัณฑ์เหรียญกษาปณานุรักษ์ พิพิธภัณฑ์ที่จัดแสดงเรื่องราวของวิวัฒนาการเหรียญกษาปณ์ไทย รวมทั้งจัดแสดงเหรียญ นานาชาติ โดยมีการออกแบบอาคารตามแนวคิดอารยสถาปัตย์ (Universal Design) เพื่อให้เหมาะสมกับผู้เข้าชมทุกประเภท ทั้งเด็ก ผู้สูงอายุ และผู้พิการสะสม 1.
